Mindful Mondays: Enjoy Yourself

It’s been such a longtime since I planned to take some time out for me and my loved ones and just be present. In September I had booked a table at Duck and Waffle for brunch (my favourite meal of the day!) and it was such a lovely thing to look forward to as it was a two month wait and it gave me and my friends the opportunity to get dressed up and look all fancy on a Sunday morning.

As expected brunch was amazing! The views, the food and the atmosphere, I’ve been there a few times before and I love it because everyone is there for similar reasons – to be happy and enjoy life in that present moment.

What made the day even more fun was that we didn’t just head back home, instead we decided to be spontaneous, ditch the car in Spitalfields and go on a walking tour around London getting in over twenty five thousand steps!
