Daily Favourites: I’m back to blogging after nearly a month off

I’m back to blogging after nearly a month off due to a family bereavement, followed by catching up with work and life commitments. During my time off I was able to think about my blog and I realised how much I enjoy sharing information, my thoughts and connecting with people all over the world. It made me realise that sometimes it’s good to take a break from things and people to see how much you appreciate them.

Today’s favourites will be compiled of things I haven’t shared over the last few weeks.

Favourite Person

Let’s start off with honouring the boxing legend that is Muhammed Ali. I was so sad to hear of his passing, he was such a big figure in my household growing up as my dad loves watching sport but I was too young to appreciate his talents – sporting, political and life lessons. In the last few days I’ve been watching many documentaries about his life and have learnt so much. Yes some of his views were controversial but I personally feel like he spoke a lot of sense and had so much passion and belief in the things he was saying. I especially love his spiritual side and his commitment to God, this quote quote of his sums up his determination of why he did what he did,  “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.”
